Age-Friendly Community Panel members serve as consultants, advocating for age-friendly improvements that make our neighborhoods more livable for everyone.
Interested in better engaging with older residents? Have a product or program you’d like to run by a potential user group?
The Community Panel is trained and paid to share their ideas and lived experiences with local government agencies, nonprofits, businesses and other organizations, uplifting diverse (primarily older) voices and offering new solutions.
Schedule a session with our Community Panel by contacting Community Engagement Manager Randi Vega at randi@agefriendlypgh.org.
Ten communities across Allegheny County currently are represented on the Panel: Beechview, Bellevue, East Pittsburgh, Etna, Glassport, Hazelwood, McKeesport, Sharpsburg and Sheraden. Our founding Panel included Braddock, Clairton, Coraopolis, Downtown, Duquesne, Hazelwood, McKeesport and Wilkinsburg.
